This course educates users to demonstrate the required level of technical and/or managerial skills and experience required to perform duties of IA Manager. It is DoD policy (DoDD 8570.1) that "the IA workforce knowledge and skills be verified through standard certification testing." Consequently, Army IA personnel must attain and maintain Information Technology (IT)/IA certifications appropriate for the technical and/or managerial requirements of their position.
